Benzema's Record Breaks in Al Nassr
Luka Modric, the former Real Madrid and Croatia captain, has announced that he will be leaving the club after 17 years to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
The Croatian midfielder, who won three Champions League titles with Real Madrid, is set to make his debut for the club on Friday night against Al-Faisaly in the AFC Cup.
Modric, who is one of the greatest midfielders of all time, is expected to bring a lot of experience to Al-Nassr, which is currently playing in the Saudi Professional League.
He will also be looking to help the team win the league title this season, as well as compete in the AFC Champions League.
The move to Al-Nassr marks a significant departure from his previous career at Real Madrid,Football Focus Network where he won numerous accolades including four La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League titles.
However, the decision to leave Real Madrid was not made lightly, and Modric expressed his gratitude to the club for the opportunities he had during his time there.
"I'm very grateful for everything I've achieved at Real Madrid," he said. "I want to thank my teammates, coaches, and fans for their support over the years."
Modric's departure from Real Madrid comes at a difficult time for the club, as they have been struggling in recent seasons.
However, the move to Al-Nassr could provide the motivation needed to turn things around and compete for major honours in the future.
